I started recording this album in 2017 when and because I became homeless. Through creating these tracks I tried to reflect upon the extreme experience of not having a home anymore. Tracks 1 to 7 and the field recordings in between are recorded at places where I - thanks to my family and friends - received shelter until I found a new home. It took me about 2 1/2 years to get rid of the feeling of being uprooted - nearly as long as it took me to finish track 8.

All that remains is for me to say: Enjoy listening & fuck gentrification!
